C.H.O.S.E.N. (Choosing Holiness Over Sin Even Now) is a ministry of Living the Word International for all youth ages 10 -17 years old.  Its purpose is to promote spiritual and personal growth, and to develop strong moral convictions that they will live godly lives in a sinful world.

We accomplish this goal by empowering them to know and understand God's perfect will and plan for their lives, along with His great and unconditional love.  They are also equipped with truths and knowledge on various social issues that enable them to live victorious Christian lives no matter what they encounter.

C.H.O.S.E.N. is a six-month program that meets every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.  The participants are taught faith-based lessons combined with interactive trainings that focus on issues relevant to the world in which they live.   Such topics as peer pressure, self-esteem, mental and physical abuse, career & goal setting and etiquette are addressed.

The last six weeks of the program is called, "Pathway to Purity."   Abstinence is the goal and purpose of these teachings.  The youth desiring to participate in this program have chosen to honor God with their bodies.  Parental approval is required to participate in the program.

Topics dealing with sexual peer pressure, drugs, alcohol, dating, teen pregnancy, STD's, promiscuity and homosexuality are addressed.

Upon completion of the “Pathway to Purity” program, they will be honored with a formal purity ceremony, where each of them willingly make a vow unto God to remain pure until marriage, and each is presented a ring or bracelet with the engraving “TRUE LOVE WAITS” as a token of that covenant.
